Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Positioning: Place unit at least 6-12 inches from walls and furniture for proper airflow.
  2. Install Drain Hose (Optional): Attach a standard garden hose (5/8" ID) to the continuous drain port for unattended operation.
  3. Check Filter: Ensure the washable air filter is properly installed.
  4. Plug into a dedicated 115V AC, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Do not use an extension cord. Ensure the unit is upright before operating.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the dehumidifier; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Select Mode: Press the MODE button to choose between Continuous, Auto (humidistat control), or Timer mode.
  2. Set Humidity Level: In Auto mode, use the UP/DOWN buttons to set your desired relative humidity (RH%) between 35% and 85%.
  3. Set Timer (Optional): Use the TIMER button to program start/stop times in 1-hour increments.
  4. Bucket Check: Ensure the water bucket is correctly inserted and locked in place.

CAUTION! Operate only within an ambient temperature range of 41°F to 95°F (5°C to 35°C).

Operation

For normal dehumidification in Auto mode.

  1. Press POWER to turn the unit on.
  2. Press MODE to select "Auto".
  3. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to set your target humidity level.
  4. The unit will cycle on and off automatically to maintain the set level.
  5. To use the continuous drain, connect a hose and ensure the bucket is in place (it will not fill).
  6. For bucket operation, empty the bucket when the FULL indicator lights and the unit shuts off.

Tip: Close windows and doors in the room for best efficiency.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Clean Air Filter: Remove and wash the filter with warm, soapy water every two weeks or as needed. Let dry completely before reinstalling. Press and hold the FILTER button for 3 seconds to reset the alert.
  2. Empty Water Bucket: Empty and clean the bucket regularly to prevent mold or mildew. Use mild detergent.
  3. Clean Exterior: Wipe the cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  4. End-of-Season Storage: Empty all water, clean the bucket and filter, and coil the power cord. Store in a cool, dry place.

WARNING! Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before any cleaning. Use only a soft, damp cloth for the exterior. For the water bucket and filter, use mild detergent and water. Never immerse the unit in water or use abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not use gasoline, thinners, or other chemicals for cleaning. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly and use.
