Installation & Placement

First-Time Setup

Power on dehumidifier; follow initial setup steps.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Clean filter: Remove and wash with warm water every 2 weeks or as needed. Air dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Clean bucket: Empty and wash with mild detergent monthly to prevent mold/mildew.
  3. Clean exterior: Wipe with soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Clean coils: Use soft brush to remove dust from rear coils every 3 months.
  5. Off-season storage: Empty bucket, clean unit, wrap cord, and store upright in dry location.

WARNING! Always unplug unit before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Drainage Options

Two methods for water removal: bucket collection or continuous drain.

Bucket Collection: Standard method; monitor full bucket indicator.

Continuous Drain:

  1. Remove bucket and drain plug from back of unit.
  2. Connect 5/8" ID hose (not included) to drain outlet.
  3. Route hose to floor drain or suitable drainage location.
  4. Ensure hose has steady downward slope without kinks.

Note: Full bucket alert is disabled in continuous drain mode.
