Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Positioning: Place unit on a flat surface at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper airflow.
  2. Check filter: Ensure the washable air filter is properly installed.
  3. Install drain hose (optional): Attach standard garden hose to continuous drain port for permanent drainage.
  4. Plug into a dedicated 115V AC, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Do not use an extension cord. Ensure the unit is upright before operating.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the dehumidifier; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set humidity level: Press the HUMIDITY button and use +/- to set desired level (recommended 45-50%).
  2. Select fan speed: Press FAN button to cycle through Low, Medium, High.
  3. Set timer (optional): Press TIMER to program automatic on/off cycles.
  4. For continuous drain: Connect hose and ensure bucket is empty and properly seated.

CAUTION! Do not operate in temperatures below 41°F (5°C). Allow unit to stand upright for 24 hours if transported on its side.

Connecting Drain Hose

For continuous operation without emptying the bucket.

  1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
  2. Remove bucket from the unit.
  3. Attach a standard 5/8" inner diameter garden hose to the drain port at the back (thread clockwise).
  4. Route the hose to a floor drain, sink, or sump pump. Ensure hose slopes downward.
  5. Replace bucket (unit will not operate without bucket properly seated).

Tip: Use hose clamp for secure connection. Check for kinks in the hose.

Operating Modes

Supports standard dehumidification and custom settings.

  1. Normal Mode: Set desired humidity; fan runs continuously until set point is reached.
  2. Continuous Mode: Set humidity to lowest setting (35%) for maximum moisture removal.
  3. Timer Mode: Program unit to turn on/off at specific times (e.g., during off-peak hours).
  4. Fan Only Mode: Press FAN until "FAN" icon appears without dehumidification icon for air circulation.

WARNING! Do not block air intake or exhaust grilles. Operate only in upright position.

Maintenance

Emptying Bucket: When FULL indicator lights, turn off unit, pull out bucket, pour water, replace bucket. Cleaning Air Filter: Remove filter every 2 weeks, rinse with warm water, dry completely, reinstall. End-of-Season Storage: Clean unit, empty and dry bucket, coil off, store in a dry place.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Clean air filter regularly. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.

CAUTION! Never immerse unit in water. Do not use gasoline or solvents for cleaning.
