Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable surface.

  2. Level Surface: Ensure unit is level to allow the bucket to seat correctly and trigger the shutoff switch.
  3. Ambient Temperature: For optimal performance, operate in an environment between 41°F and 95°F (5°C - 35°C).
  4. Power Source: Plug directly into a grounded 115V, 60Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

WARNING! Do not place in a confined space or block air intake or exhaust grilles. Ensure the unit is upright before operating.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the dehumidifier; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Insert Bucket: Ensure the water collection bucket is correctly inserted and clicks into place.
  2. Set Humidity Level: Press the HUMIDITY button to set your desired relative humidity (RH) level (40%-80% recommended).
  3. Select Fan Speed: Choose between HIGH or LOW fan speed using the FAN button.
  4. Start Operation: Press the POWER button to begin dehumidification. The compressor will start after a brief delay.

CAUTION! Allow the unit to sit upright for at least 24 hours if it was transported on its side, to let the refrigerant settle.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures efficiency and longevity.

WARNING! Always unplug the unit before performing any cleaning or maintenance. Do not immerse any part of the unit in water.

Drainage Options

Two methods for removing collected water: manual bucket or continuous drain.

Manual (Bucket): The unit will automatically shut off when the bucket is full. Empty it promptly.
Continuous Drain: 1. Remove the bucket. 2. Attach a standard 5/8" inner diameter garden hose (not included) to the drain outlet at the back. 3. Ensure the hose runs downward to a floor drain or sink. 4. The Continuous Drain icon will light on the control panel, and the bucket full shutoff will be disabled.

CAUTION! For continuous drain, the drain destination must be lower than the dehumidifier's drain outlet. Ensure the hose is not kinked.
