Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and tape from unit.
  2. Place dehumidifier on firm, level floor at least 6 inches from walls.
  3. Ensure proper air circulation: Keep vents unobstructed.
  4. Check power requirements: 115V, 60Hz grounded outlet.
  5. Install air filter: Ensure filter is properly seated in front grille.

WARNING! Do not use extension cords. Ensure proper grounding. Do not place near heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Plug in unit; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Initial power on: Plug into grounded outlet, unit will beep and display current humidity.

Connecting Drain Hose

  4. Insert garden hose (¾" diameter) into drain port.
  5. Route hose to floor drain, sink, or sump pump.
  6. Replace bucket (unit will not operate without bucket in place).
  7. Select CONTINUOUS mode on control panel.

Tip: Ensure hose has downward slope for proper drainage.

Operation Modes

Three operating modes available.

  1. Normal Mode: Unit runs until set humidity is reached, then cycles on/off automatically.
  2. Continuous Mode: Unit runs continuously regardless of humidity level (use with drain hose).
  3. Turbo Mode: Maximum moisture removal with high fan speed.
  4. Auto-Defrost: Automatically activates when coil temperature drops below 41°F.
  5. Timer Operation: Set to turn unit on/off at specific times (1-24 hour programming).

WARNING! Do not operate below 41°F without auto-defrost function active.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

Air Filter: Clean every 2 weeks or as needed. Remove, wash with warm soapy water, dry completely, reinstall.

Water Bucket: Empty regularly, clean monthly with mild detergent.

Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth, dry thoroughly.

Coils: Vacuum annually to remove dust accumulation.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use mild detergent only; no abrasive cleaners.
