Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tape from unit.
  2. Position dehumidifier at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper airflow.
  3. Ensure the unit is placed on a level surface to prevent water leakage.
  4. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  5. Install casters by pressing into bottom corners until they click into place.

WARNING! Do not operate in standing water. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.

First-Time Setup

Plug into grounded 115V outlet; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Insert water tank securely until it clicks into place.
  2. Plug power cord into dedicated 115V, 60Hz grounded outlet.
  3. Press POWER button to turn on unit.
  4. Set desired humidity level using UP/DOWN buttons (recommended 45-50% RH).

  3. Gravity Drainage: For continuous operation, place unit higher than drain point (minimum 12-inch elevation).

WARNING! Do not drink collected water. Empty tank regularly to prevent overflow.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance. Monthly cleaning recommended.

  1. Air Filter: Remove filter monthly, wash with warm water and mild detergent, air dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Water Tank: Clean monthly with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth, then dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Coils: Vacuum condenser coils every 3 months to maintain efficiency.
  5. End of Season: Empty tank completely, clean unit, and store properly.

CAUTION! Never immerse unit in water. Do not use chemical cleaners on filter.

Care & Storage

For seasonal storage or extended non-use:
