Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Choose Location: Place in center of room for best airflow, away from walls and furniture.
  2. Clear Area: Ensure at least 12 inches of clearance on all sides, especially intake and exhaust.
  3. Check Floor: Surface must be level to ensure proper bucket seating and operation.
  4. Power Outlet: Plug into a dedicated 115V grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

WARNING! Do not install in areas with temperatures below 41°F (5°C). Ensure the unit is upright for at least 24 hours before first use if transported on its side.

First-Time Setup

Power on the dehumidifier; set initial preferences.

  1. Insert the Water Bucket: Slide bucket fully into the unit until it clicks.
  2. Set Humidity Level: Press the HUMIDITY button to select desired RH% (40%-60% recommended).
  3. Select Fan Speed: Choose LOW for quiet operation or HIGH for maximum moisture removal.
  4. Set Timer (Optional): Use TIMER button to program automatic start/stop times.
  5. For Continuous Drain: Attach hose to drain port (see Section 9).

CAUTION! Handle the unit with care; use the handles. Do not operate without the air filter installed.

Timer: Program up to 24 hours for delayed start or shutoff.

Fan Speed: LOW for energy-efficient, quiet operation; HIGH for maximum dehumidification.

Control Lock: Press and hold CONTROL LOCK for 3 seconds to disable the control panel.

Operation Modes

Normal Dehumidification: Unit runs until bucket is full or set humidity is reached.

Continuous Mode: Set humidity to "CONT" to run continuously regardless of room humidity.

Auto Defrost: In low temperatures, the unit will automatically enter a defrost cycle; the DEFROST light will illuminate.

Bucket Full Mode: When the bucket is full, the unit will beep, the POWER light will flash, and operation will stop until the bucket is emptied and reinserted.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before any maintenance.

  1. Cleaning the Air Filter: Remove filter every 2 weeks or when FILTER light illuminates. Wash with warm, soapy water, rinse, and air dry completely before reinstalling. Press FILTER RESET.
  2. Emptying the Water Bucket: Pull bucket out using the handle. Empty water into a sink or drain. Clean bucket with mild detergent if needed. Reinsert firmly.
  3. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. End-of-Season Cleaning: Run the unit in Fan Only mode for a few hours to dry the interior before storage.

CAUTION! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not operate without the air filter.

Continuous Drain Setup

For unattended operation, use the continuous drain option.

  1. Locate the drain port on the back of the unit.
  2. Remove the drain port cap.
  3. Connect a standard 5/8" inner diameter garden hose (not included). Ensure a tight fit.
  4. Route the hose to a floor drain, sink, or sump pump. The drain must be lower than the drain port.
  5. When using continuous drain, the bucket does not need to be in place, but the bucket compartment door must be closed.

Tip: Ensure the hose is not kinked and has a downward slope to allow proper water flow.

Care & Storage

If not using for an extended period:

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and clean the water bucket. Let it air dry.
  3. Clean the air filter and let it dry.
  4. Coil the power cord and store in the compartment.
  5. Cover the unit and store in a cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Store upright. Do not place heavy objects on top.
