Control Panel: POWER, HUMIDITY (+/-), FAN (High/Low), TIMER (1-24 hrs), MODE (Continuous/Target Humidity), FILTER ALERT (Reset).

Display Icons: Power, Bucket Full, Target Humidity, Fan Speed, Timer, Filter Alert, Defrost.

Key Settings: Target Humidity (set desired level), Fan Speed (HIGH for faster dehumidification, LOW for quiet operation), Timer (delay start or auto-off), Continuous Mode (runs constantly until turned off or bucket is full).

Operation Modes

Automatic (Target Humidity) Mode: Unit runs until the set humidity level is reached, then cycles on/off to maintain it.

Continuous Mode: Unit runs constantly, ignoring the humidistat setting. Ideal for very damp conditions or when using the continuous drain hose.

Timer Mode: Set to turn the unit ON or OFF after 1-24 hours. Useful for scheduling operation.

Auto-Defrost Mode: Automatically activates when coil temperature drops near freezing. The compressor will pause, and the fan may continue until coils thaw.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Cleaning the Air Filter: Remove and wash the filter with warm, soapy water every 2 weeks or as needed. Let dry completely before reinstalling. Press and hold FILTER button for 3 seconds to reset the filter alert.
  2. Emptying the Water Bucket: When the "Bucket Full" indicator lights and the unit shuts off, remove the bucket, empty it, and reinsert securely.
  3. Cleaning the Exterior: Unplug unit. Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  4. Cleaning the Bucket: Periodically clean the bucket with mild detergent to prevent mold or mildew.

WARNING! Always unplug the dehumidifier before performing any maintenance.

Draining Options

Bucket Drainage (Manual): Standard method. Empty the bucket when full.

Continuous Drainage (Automatic):

  1. Ensure the unit is unplugged and the bucket is removed.
  2. Locate the drain port on the back of the unit.
  3. Connect a standard ¾" garden hose (not included). Ensure hose runs downward to a floor drain, sink, or sump pump.
  4. Replace the bucket. The unit will now drain continuously, and the bucket full alert will not activate.

Tip: For continuous drainage, place the unit on a stable surface higher than the drain point to ensure proper water flow.

Care & Storage

When not in use for an extended period:

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly clean the water bucket. Let it air dry.
  3. Clean the air filter and let it dry.
  4. Coil the power cord neatly.
  5. Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place. Cover to prevent dust accumulation.

CAUTION! Do not store the unit in areas subject to freezing temperatures. Ensure it is completely dry before storage.
