Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Positioning: Place at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper airflow.

First-Time Setup

Power on dehumidifier; configure initial settings.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Clean Filter: Remove and wash filter every 2 weeks or as needed. Let dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Empty Bucket: Remove and empty bucket when full or when indicator light comes on.
  3. Clean Exterior: Wipe with soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  4. Clean Condenser Coils: Use soft brush to remove dust annually (unplug first).
  5. Reset Filter Alert: Press and hold FILTER button for 3 seconds after cleaning filter.

WARNING! Always unplug unit before cleaning or maintenance.

Drainage Options

Two drainage methods available:

  1. Bucket Collection: Standard method using removable 15.8-pint bucket.
  2. Continuous Drainage: Connect included hose to drain port for automatic drainage.
  3. Pump Drainage: Use built-in pump for upward drainage (max 16 ft vertical lift).

For Continuous Drain: Attach hose securely to drain port, place other end in floor drain or sink. Ensure hose has downward slope without kinks.

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods:

  1. Unplug unit and empty bucket completely.
  2. Clean filter and let dry.
  3. Clean interior and exterior surfaces.
  4. Coil drain hose neatly if attached.
  5. Store in upright position in dry, covered area.
