Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Clearance: Ensure at least 12 inches of space around all sides, especially near walls and furniture.
  2. Positioning: Place in the center of the room or area with high humidity for best performance.
  3. Power Source: Plug directly into a grounded 115V, 60Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  4. Bucket Installation: Insert the empty water bucket securely until it clicks into place.

WARNING! Do not operate in temperatures below 41°F (5°C). Ensure the unit is upright for at least 24 hours before first use if transported on its side.

  2. Select Mode: Choose between CONTINUOUS (runs constantly) or AUTO (uses humidistat).
  3. Set Timer (Optional): Press TIMER to program automatic start/stop times.
  4. Check Drainage: Decide to use the bucket or connect a drain hose (see section 9).

Controls and Settings

Access all functions via the digital control panel or included remote control.

Control Panel: POWER, MODE (Continuous/Auto), HUMIDITY Set, FAN Speed (High/Low), TIMER, FILTER Reset, LOCK.

Display Icons: Power, Bucket Full, Defrost, Filter Clean, Timer, Lock, Fan Speed, Target Humidity.

Settings: Humidity Set Point (35%-85%), Fan Speed (High for fast dehumidification, Low for quiet operation), Timer (1-24 hours), Auto Restart (resumes previous settings after power outage).

Operation Modes

AUTO Mode: Unit cycles on/off automatically to maintain the set humidity level. The compressor and fan run until the set point is reached, then shut off until humidity rises.

CONTINUOUS Mode: Unit runs continuously regardless of humidity level. Use for maximum moisture removal or in very damp conditions.

Timer Mode: Program the unit to turn ON or OFF after a set delay (1-24 hours). Useful for scheduled operation.

Fan Only Mode: Circulates air without dehumidifying. Press FAN button when unit is off to activate.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before any maintenance.

  1. Air Filter: Clean every 2 weeks or as needed. Remove, wash with warm water and mild detergent, dry completely, and reinstall.
  2. Water Bucket: Empty and clean monthly with mild detergent to prevent mold/mildew. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. Grilles and Coils: Use a vacuum brush attachment to remove dust from intake and exhaust grilles annually.

CAUTION! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not operate without the air filter installed.

Drainage Options

Bucket Drainage: The unit will automatically shut off and the "Bucket Full" light will illuminate when the bucket is full. Remove, empty, and reinsert the bucket to resume.

Continuous Drainage:

  1. Locate the drain outlet on the back of the unit.
  2. Remove the drain plug and store it safely.
  3. Connect a standard 5/8" inner diameter garden hose (not included). Ensure hose runs downward to a floor drain or sink.
  4. The bucket must remain in place even when using continuous drain.

Tip: For continuous drain, place the unit on a stable surface higher than the drain point to ensure proper water flow.
