Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  2. Ensure unit is upright for at least 24 hours before first use if transported on its side.
  3. Place in area with proper air circulation, at least 12 inches from walls and furniture.
  4. Ensure room temperature is between 41°F and 95°F for optimal operation.
  5. Plug into dedicated 115V AC, 60Hz grounded outlet.

WARNING! Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Ensure proper clearance for air intake and exhaust.

First-Time Setup

Power on dehumidifier; configure initial settings.

  1. Insert water bucket securely until it clicks into place.
  2. Plug power cord into outlet. Unit will beep and display will light up.
  3. Set desired humidity: Press HUMIDITY button, use arrows to select 45%-50% (recommended).
  4. Select fan speed: Press FAN button for HIGH or LOW setting.
  5. Set timer if needed: Press TIMER button to program on/off schedule.

CAUTION! Handle with care when moving; use two people if unit is heavy. Do not operate with bucket removed.

Maintenance & Cleaning

  1. Water Bucket: Empty regularly. Clean with mild detergent monthly.
  2. Air Filter: Clean every 2-4 weeks. Remove, wash with warm water, dry completely before reinstalling.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Grille and Vents: Vacuum dust buildup monthly.
  5. End of Season: Empty bucket, clean filter, run in fan-only mode for 30 minutes to dry interior before storage.

WARNING! Always unplug unit before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Continuous Drain Setup

For unattended operation, connect garden hose (not included) to continuous drain port.

  1. Remove drain cap from back of unit.
  2. Connect standard 5/8" garden hose (ensure hose is straight without kinks).
  3. Route hose to floor drain, sink, or outdoors (ensure downward slope).
  4. Remove water bucket (unit will not operate with bucket in place during continuous drain).
  5. Unit will now drain continuously without needing to empty bucket.

CAUTION! Ensure proper drainage to prevent water damage. Check hose regularly for clogs.

Safety Features

Auto shut-off when bucket is full. Overload protection. Auto-defrost in low temperatures. Child lock (press and hold TIMER for 3 seconds).
