Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Positioning: Place unit at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper airflow.
  2. Check filter: Ensure washable filter is properly installed.
  3. Power connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V AC, 60Hz outlet.
  4. Drainage setup: Decide between using the water tank or connecting the continuous drain hose.

WARNING! Do not use extension cords. Ensure unit is upright for at least 24 hours before first use if transported on its side.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the unit; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set desired humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to select a set point (35% - 85%).
  2. Select fan speed: Choose between HIGH or LOW fan setting.
  3. Set timer (optional): Use TIMER button to program automatic start/stop times.

Connecting Drainage

Two drainage options: Manual (water tank) or Continuous (drain hose).

  1. For manual drainage: Ensure tank is correctly seated. Empty when FULL light comes on.
  2. For continuous drainage: Turn unit off and unplug. Attach 5/8" ID hose (not included) to drain port. Route hose to floor drain, sink, or sump pump. Ensure hose has a downward slope.

Tip: For continuous drainage, remove the water tank from the unit.

Operation Modes

Supports standard dehumidification and customizable settings.

  1. Normal Mode: Unit runs until desired humidity is reached, then cycles on/off to maintain it.
  2. Continuous Mode: Set humidity to lowest setting (35%) for continuous operation.
  3. Timer Mode: Set unit to turn on or off at specific times.
  4. Fan Only Mode: Press and hold FAN button for 3 seconds to circulate air without dehumidifying.

WARNING! Do not block air intake or exhaust grilles. Keep area around unit clear.
