Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Positioning: Place at least 6 inches from walls for proper airflow. Ensure level surface.
  2. Water Tank: Insert empty tank securely into unit until it clicks.
  3. Power Connection: Plug into dedicated 115V/60Hz outlet. Do not use extension cord.
  4. Continuous Drain (Optional): Attach hose to drain port and route to floor drain.

First-Time Setup

  4. Route hose to floor drain or suitable outlet (downward slope required).
  5. Replace water tank (empty) to allow continuous operation.

Tip: Ensure hose is not kinked and drain location is lower than dehumidifier.

Operating Modes

Multiple modes for efficient dehumidification.

  1. Auto Mode: Maintains set humidity automatically (default).
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs constantly until stopped or tank full.
  3. Timer Mode: Set to turn on/off at specific times.
  4. Fan Only Mode: Circulates air without dehumidifying (press FAN twice).
  5. Auto Defrost: Frost sensor activates defrost cycle in low temperatures.

WARNING! Do not block air intake or exhaust. Keep unit away from curtains and furniture.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

Air Filter: Clean every 2 weeks or when FILTER light illuminates. Rinse with warm water, dry completely before reinstalling. Water Tank: Empty regularly, clean with mild detergent monthly. Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth. Coils: Vacuum dust from rear coils every 3 months. End-of-Season: Empty tank, clean filter, cover unit, and store upright in dry place.

Care & Cleaning
