Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable surface.

  1. Positioning: Place the dehumidifier in the center of the room, at least 12 inches away from walls and furniture for proper airflow.
  2. Check Filter: Ensure the air filter is properly installed.
  3. Drainage Option: For continuous drainage, connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the drain port and route to a floor drain or suitable outlet.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Do not use an extension cord. Ensure the unit is on a level surface to prevent water leakage.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the unit; the digital display will illuminate.

  1. Set Humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to set your desired level (recommended 45-50% for general comfort).
  2. Select Fan Speed: Choose between HIGH or LOW fan speed using the FAN button.
  3. Timer Setting (Optional): Use the TIMER button to program automatic start/stop times.
  4. Start Operation: Press the POWER button to begin dehumidifying.

Operating Instructions

For manual (bucket) operation or continuous drainage.

  1. Manual Operation: The unit will run until the water tank is full, then shut off automatically. The FULL indicator will light. Empty the tank by pulling it out, carrying it to a drain, and pouring out the water. Reinsert firmly.
  2. Continuous Drainage: Connect a hose to the drain port. Ensure the hose runs downhill without kinks. The unit will run continuously without needing to empty a tank.
  3. Auto Mode: Set your desired humidity. The unit will cycle on and off automatically to maintain that level.
  4. Turbo Mode: Press FAN to select HIGH speed for faster dehumidification.

Tip: For best performance, keep doors and windows closed in the room being dehumidified.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before any maintenance.

  1. Cleaning the Air Filter: Remove the filter every two weeks (or more often in dusty environments). Rinse with lukewarm water and let air dry completely before reinstalling. Press and hold FILTER RESET for 3 seconds.
  2. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. Cleaning the Water Tank: Empty and rinse the tank monthly with mild detergent to prevent mold or odors. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. End-of-Season Care: If storing, follow the storage instructions below.

WARNING! Never operate the unit without the air filter installed. Do not immerse the unit in water.

Storage

If not using for an extended period:

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly dry the water tank.
  3. Clean the air filter and let it dry.
  4. Coil the power cord and store in the compartment.
  5. Cover the unit and store in a cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Store the unit upright. Do not place heavy objects on top of it.
