Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable surface.

  1. Choose location: Place in center of room or area with high humidity, away from walls and furniture (minimum 12" clearance).
  2. Check ventilation: Ensure air intake and outlet grilles are unobstructed.
  3. Level the unit: Adjust feet if necessary to prevent vibration.
  4. Connect to power: Plug into a dedicated 115V/60Hz grounded outlet.
  5. For continuous drain: Attach hose to drain port and route to floor drain or sink.

WARNING! Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Ensure proper clearance for airflow.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the dehumidifier; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set humidity level: Press HUMIDITY button, then use UP/DOWN arrows to set desired RH% (recommended 45-50%).
  2. Select mode: Choose between CONTINUOUS (runs constantly) or AUTO (cycles based on humidistat setting).
  3. Set timer (optional): Press TIMER button to program on/off schedule.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access all functions via the digital control panel on top of the unit.

Control Panel: POWER button, HUMIDITY setting, FAN speed (LOW/HIGH/TURBO), TIMER, MODE (CONTINUOUS/AUTO), FILTER reset indicator, FULL TANK indicator.

Humidity Control: Set target humidity from 35% to 85% in 5% increments. Fan Speed: LOW for quiet operation, HIGH for faster dehumidification, TURBO for maximum moisture removal. Timer: Program 1-24 hours for automatic start or stop. Mode: CONTINUOUS runs constantly; AUTO cycles based on humidistat reading. Filter Alert: LED lights when filter needs cleaning (after 250 hours of operation).

Operation Modes

Three main operating modes for different needs.

  1. Auto Mode: Unit runs until set humidity is reached, then cycles on/off to maintain level.
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs constantly regardless of humidity level (use for very damp conditions).
  3. Turbo Mode: Maximum fan speed for rapid dehumidification in extreme humidity.
  4. Sleep Mode: Fan operates at lowest speed with display dimmed for nighttime use.

Tip: Use AUTO mode for energy efficiency. Switch to CONTINUOUS when first drying out a very damp space.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Clean air filter: Remove filter every 2-4 weeks, wash with mild detergent, rinse, dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Empty water tank: Remove and empty tank when FULL indicator lights. Clean tank with mild solution monthly.
  3. Clean exterior: Wipe cabinet with soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. End-of-season storage: Empty tank completely, run in FAN ONLY mode for 30 minutes to dry internals, clean filter, coil and store in dry place.

CAUTION! Always unplug unit before cleaning. Never immerse in water or use harsh chemicals.

Water Drainage Options

Two methods for water removal: manual tank emptying or continuous drain.

Manual Tank Emptying: Unit automatically shuts off when tank is full. Remove tank by pulling handle, empty contents, replace securely.

Continuous Drain: Attach standard 5/8" ID hose (not included) to drain port at back. Route hose to floor drain, sink, or sump pump. Ensure hose has downward slope without kinks.

WARNING! When using continuous drain, ensure proper drainage to prevent overflow. Check hose regularly for blockages.
