Installation & Placement

  2. Place dehumidifier on level floor with at least 12 inches clearance on all sides.
  3. Ensure room temperature is between 41°F (5°C) and 95°F (35°C) for optimal operation.
  4. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  5. Install casters if not pre-attached.

WARNING! Do not place in confined spaces or block air vents. Ensure proper ventilation.

First-Time Setup

Plug into grounded electrical outlet; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Insert water tank securely until it clicks into place.
  2. Plug power cord into 115V, 60Hz grounded outlet.
  3. Press POWER button to turn on unit.
  4. Set desired humidity level using UP/DOWN buttons (30%-80% RH).
  5. Select fan speed (LOW/HIGH) based on room conditions.
  6. For continuous drainage: Connect hose to drain port (hose not included).

CAUTION! Use dedicated outlet; avoid extension cords. Allow unit to stand upright for 24 hours if transported horizontally.

Drainage Options

Two drainage methods: Manual (bucket) or Continuous (hose).

Manual Drainage:

  1. Unit automatically shuts off when tank is full (FULL TANK light illuminates)
  2. Pull water tank straight out
  3. Carry to drain location using both handles
  4. Empty completely
  5. Replace tank securely until click is heard

Continuous Drainage:

  1. Remove drain plug from back of unit
  2. Connect 5/8" ID hose (not included)
  3. Route hose to floor drain or suitable location
  4. Ensure hose has downward slope without kinks
  5. Unit will drain continuously without needing to empty tank

Care & Storage

When not in use for extended periods:

  1. Unplug unit from outlet.
  2. Empty and clean water tank thoroughly.
  3. Clean air filter and let dry completely.
  4. Run unit in FAN ONLY mode for 30 minutes to dry internal components.
  5. Coil power cord neatly and secure with twist tie.
  6. Store in upright position in dry, covered area.
  7. Cover unit to prevent dust accumulation.
