Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable surface.

  2. Check clearance: Ensure at least 12-18 inches of space on all sides, especially around air intake and exhaust.
  3. Level surface: Unit must be level for proper operation and to prevent water leakage.
  4. Power connection: Plug directly into a grounded 115V AC outlet. Do not use extension cords.

WARNING! Do not place in areas below 41°F (5°C). Ensure the unit is upright for at least 24 hours before first use if transported on its side.

First-Time Setup

Power on the dehumidifier; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Insert bucket: Ensure water collection bucket is correctly seated and locked in place.
  2. Set humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to set your desired level (recommended 45-50% for comfort).
  3. Select fan speed: Choose between HIGH (faster dehumidification) or LOW (quieter operation).
  4. Set timer (optional): Use TIMER button to program automatic start/stop times.
  5. For continuous drain: Connect a standard garden hose (¾") to the drain port at the back if desired.

CAUTION! Handle the unit with care; the bucket can be heavy when full. Empty regularly.
