First-Time Setup

  3. Reset filter indicator: After cleaning, press and hold FILTER button for 3 seconds.
  4. Clean exterior: Unplug unit, wipe with damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  5. End-of-season storage: Empty bucket, clean filter, let unit run in fan-only mode for 1 hour to dry internals, coil cord, and store upright in dry place.

WARNING! Always unplug unit before cleaning or maintenance. Never immerse in water.

Drainage Options

Bucket Method: Standard operation; empty when full indicator lights. Continuous Drainage: For unattended operation.

  1. Locate drainage port on back of unit.
  2. Remove port cover.
  3. Attach standard 5/8" garden hose (not included). Ensure hose runs downward without kinks.
  4. Place hose end into floor drain or suitable outlet.
  5. Unit will drain continuously; bucket does not need to be emptied.

Note: For gravity drainage, unit must be level or slightly tilted toward hose. Pump not included.

Energy Efficiency Tips
