Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Positioning: Place unit at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper airflow.

  3. Bucket installation: Insert empty water bucket securely until it clicks.
  4. Power connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 60Hz outlet. Do not use extension cords.

WARNING! Ensure unit is upright for at least 24 hours before first use if transported on its side. Keep away from heat sources and water splashes.

First-Time Setup

Plug in unit; control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set humidity level: Press HUMIDITY button, then use UP/DOWN arrows to set desired RH (35%-85%).

  4. Route hose to floor drain or suitable drainage area (downward slope required).
  5. Replace bucket (unit will not operate without bucket installed).
  6. Plug in and restart unit.

Tip: Ensure hose is not kinked and has consistent downward slope for proper drainage.

Operation Modes

Three operating modes available.

  1. Continuous Mode: Runs constantly regardless of humidity level. Press MODE until "CONT" appears.
  2. Auto Mode: Maintains set humidity level. Unit cycles on/off automatically. Press MODE until "AUTO" appears.
  3. Timer Mode: Set delayed start or stop. Press TIMER, use arrows to set hours (1-24), then press TIMER again to confirm.
  4. Auto-Defrost: Automatically activates when coil temperature drops below 41°F. Display shows "DEF" during cycle.
  5. Bucket Full Protection: Unit automatically shuts off when bucket is full. "FULL" indicator lights. Empty bucket to resume.

WARNING! Do not operate without bucket or with bucket improperly installed. Do not move unit while in operation.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any cleaning or maintenance.

  1. Air Filter: Remove, wash with mild detergent and warm water, rinse thoroughly, air dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Water Bucket: Empty and clean with mild detergent monthly. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with soft, damp cloth. Do not use chemicals or abrasives.
  4. Coils and internals: Do not attempt to clean. Contact authorized service for internal cleaning.
