Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor surface.

  1. Choose Location: Place in the center of the room or area with high humidity, away from walls and furniture (minimum 20 inches clearance).
  2. Check Airflow: Ensure air intake and exhaust grilles are unobstructed.
  3. Set Up Drainage: For continuous use, attach drain hose to the outlet port and route to a floor drain or suitable container.
  4. Install Air Filter: Ensure the washable filter is correctly seated in its slot.
  5. Plug into a dedicated 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use an extension cord. Ensure the unit is upright before operating. Do not place in a confined space or block airflow.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the unit; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set Desired Humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to set your target relative humidity (recommended 45-50% for comfort).
  2. Select Mode: Press the MODE button to choose between Auto, Continuous, or Turbo.
  3. Set Timer (Optional): Use the TIMER buttons to program automatic start/stop times.
  4. Check Drainage: Ensure the water tank is empty and properly inserted, or the drain hose is securely connected.

CAUTION! Allow the unit to sit upright for at least 2 hours after transportation before first use to allow refrigerant to settle.

Control Panel: POWER, MODE (Auto/Cont/Turbo), HUMIDITY Up/Down, FAN SPEED (Low/High), TIMER (1-24 Hr), FILTER ALERT Reset.

Settings: Humidity Set Point (35%-85%), 24-Hour Programmable Timer, Fan Speed (Low/High), Auto-Restart (Memory Function).

Operating Modes

Auto Mode: Unit runs until set humidity is reached, then cycles on/off to maintain it.

Continuous Mode: Unit runs constantly regardless of room humidity. Use for maximum moisture removal.

Turbo (High) Mode: Fan runs at highest speed for fastest dehumidification.

  1. Select mode using the MODE button.
  2. In Auto Mode, set your desired humidity level.
  3. The compressor and fan will operate accordingly. The defrost function activates automatically if needed.
  4. When the water tank is full, the unit will beep, display the full icon, and shut off automatically.

Tip: Use Continuous mode in very damp conditions like basements after flooding. Use Auto mode for everyday comfort.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before any maintenance.

  1. Emptying the Water Tank: Pull tank out by the handle, empty water, wipe clean, and reinsert until it clicks.
  2. Cleaning the Air Filter: Remove filter every two weeks. Rinse under lukewarm water, let air dry completely before reinstalling. Press FILTER RESET button.
  3. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. End-of-Season Cleaning: Empty and dry the tank. Run the unit in Fan Only mode for a few hours to dry the interior coils before storage.

CAUTION! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not operate without the air filter installed.

Storage

If not using for an extended period:

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly dry the water tank and interior.
  3. Clean the air filter and let it dry.
  4. Coil the power cord neatly.
  5. Store in a cool, dry place, covered to prevent dust accumulation.

WARNING! Store in an upright position. Do not place heavy objects on top of the unit.

Troubleshooting
