Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access all functions via the electronic control panel on top of the unit.

Control Panel: POWER, MODE, HUMIDITY SET, FAN SPEED (LOW/HIGH), TIMER, PUMP, FILTER RESET.

Display Icons: Power, Mode, Set Humidity %, Fan Speed, Timer, Pump Active, Full Tank, Filter Alert, Defrost.

Humidity Control: Set between 35% and 80% RH. The unit will cycle to maintain this level in AUTO mode. Fan Speed: LOW for quiet operation, HIGH for maximum moisture removal. Timer: Set in 1-hour increments up to 24 hours. Pump: Activate for continuous drainage via the built-in pump. Filter Reset: Press and hold for 3 seconds after cleaning the filter to reset the alert.

Operation Modes

Select mode using the MODE button.

  1. CONTINUOUS: Runs continuously until turned off or the tank is full. Ignores humidity setting.
  2. AUTO (Recommended): Automatically turns on/off to maintain the set humidity level.
  3. DRYER: Designed for drying laundry in a closed room. Runs the fan continuously.

Tip: Use AUTO mode for everyday energy-efficient operation. Use CONTINUOUS for rapid moisture removal after floods or leaks.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before any maintenance.

  1. Air Filter: Clean every 2 weeks or as needed. Remove, rinse with warm water, let dry completely, and reinstall.
  2. Water Tank: Empty regularly. Clean monthly with a mild detergent to prevent mold/mildew. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Grille and Coils: Vacuum the rear grille and coils gently every few months to remove dust.

CAUTION! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not use harsh chemicals on the water tank.

Drainage Options

Two methods for removing collected water.

  1. Water Tank (Manual):
    • Tank fills; "FULL" icon lights and unit shuts off.
    • Grip handle, pull tank straight out.
    • Empty water, reinsert firmly until it clicks.
    • Unit will resume operation if in AUTO mode.
  2. Continuous Drainage (Automatic):
    • Gravity Drain: Connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the drain port at the back. Ensure hose runs downward to a floor drain or sink.
    • Pump Drain: Activate PUMP function. Connect a 5/8" ID hose to the pump outlet. The pump can lift water up to 15 feet vertically, allowing drainage into a sink or out a window.

Note: For pump drainage, ensure the hose is not kinked and has a clear path.

Storage Instructions

If not using for an extended period:

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly dry the water tank.
  3. Clean the air filter and let it dry.
  4. Run the unit in FAN ONLY mode for a few hours in a warm room to dry the internal components.
  5. Coil the power cord neatly.
  6. Store upright in a cool, dry place. Cover to prevent dust accumulation.

WARNING! Do not store on its side or in a location where it may freeze.
