Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.

1. Choose location: Place on a level, stable floor near a power outlet and drainage area if using continuous drain.
2. Clearance: Allow at least 12 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
3. Check filter: Ensure the washable air filter is properly installed.
4. Power connection: Plug directly into a grounded 115V AC outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

WARNING! Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Ensure the unit is upright before operating.

First-Time Setup

Power on the dehumidifier; the digital display will illuminate.

1. Set humidity level: Press the HUMIDITY button to select desired level (recommended 45-50% for comfort).
2. Select mode: Choose between CONTINUOUS (runs constantly) or AUTO (cycles based on humidity setting).

Controls and Settings

3. Empty water bucket regularly to prevent overflow and odors.
4. Clean exterior with a soft, damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
5. Check drain hose (if used) for clogs or kinks.
6. Store properly if not in use: Empty bucket, clean filter, and cover unit.

WARNING! Do not operate without the air filter. Never immerse the unit in water.

Continuous Drainage

For automatic water removal, use the included drain hose.

1. Locate the drain outlet on the back of the unit.
2. Remove the outlet cap and attach the hose securely.
3. Place the other end of the hose into a floor drain, sink, or sump pump.
4. Ensure hose is not kinked and has a downward slope for gravity flow.
5. The bucket must remain in place even when using continuous drain.

Note: The bucket full indicator will not activate when using continuous drainage.

Energy Efficiency Tips

Use Auto Mode and set humidity to 45-50% for balanced performance. Utilize the timer to run during peak humidity times. Keep doors and windows closed. Ensure filter is clean for unrestricted airflow. Place unit in a central location for even dehumidification.
