Installation & Placement

First-Time Setup

Controls and Settings

Access all functions via the electronic control panel on top of the unit.

Control Panel: POWER, HUMIDITY (Up/Down), FAN (Speed), TIMER (Set), MODE (Continuous/Auto), FILTER (Reset Indicator).

LED Display: Shows current humidity, set humidity, timer status, fan speed, filter alert, and full bucket icon.

Operation Modes

Auto Mode: Unit runs until set humidity is reached, then cycles on/off to maintain it.

Continuous Mode: Runs continuously regardless of humidity level until manually turned off or bucket is full.

Timer Mode: Set to turn the unit ON or OFF after a delay of 1-24 hours.

Press TIMER button, then use +/- to set hours.
Press TIMER again to confirm. The unit will turn off/on after the set time.

Tip: Use Continuous mode for rapid moisture removal after flooding or spills. Use Auto mode for everyday energy-efficient operation.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before any maintenance.

Emptying the Bucket: Remove bucket when full (indicator light will illuminate). Carry carefully to avoid spills. Empty, dry, and reinsert.
Cleaning the Filter: Remove the filter every 2 weeks or as needed. Rinse with lukewarm water and let air dry completely before reinstalling. Press and hold FILTER button for 3 seconds to reset the indicator.
Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
End-of-Season Storage: Empty and clean the bucket and filter. Run the unit in Fan Only mode for a few hours to dry the coils. Coil the power cord. Store upright in a dry location.

CAUTION! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not operate without the filter.

Drainage Options

Manual (Bucket): Default method. Empty the bucket when full.

Continuous Drain (Recommended):

Turn off and unplug the unit.
Remove the bucket.
Connect a standard 5/8" inner diameter garden hose (not included) to the drain port at the back of the unit.
Route the hose to a floor drain, sink, or sump pump. Ensure the hose runs downhill without kinks.
Replace the bucket. The unit will now drain continuously, bypassing the bucket.

Note: The auto-shutoff for a full bucket is disabled in continuous drain mode.

Safety Features

Auto Shutoff: Turns off the compressor and lights the FULL indicator when the water bucket is full.

Auto Defrost: Automatically cycles the compressor off to defrost the coils when frost is detected in low temperatures.

Auto Restart: If power is lost and restored, the unit will automatically restart with the previous settings.

Tip Over Protection: Internal switch may shut off the unit if it is tilted excessively.

Troubleshooting
