Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Positioning: Ensure at least 12 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  2. Water Tank: Insert tank securely until it clicks into place.
  3. Continuous Drain (optional): Attach 5/8" inner diameter hose to drain port at rear.
  4. Power Connection: Plug into dedicated 115V AC, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Ensure outlet is properly grounded.

First-Time Setup

Plug in unit; control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set Humidity Level: Press HUMIDITY button to select desired RH (35%-85%).
  2. Select Mode: Choose CONTINUOUS or AUTO (cycles based on set humidity).
  3. Timer (optional): Use TIMER button to set automatic on/off schedule.
  4. Check Filter: Ensure washable filter is clean before first use.

CAUTION! Do not operate with empty water tank. Always handle tank with both hands.

Connecting Drainage

For continuous operation, connect hose to drain port.

  1. Turn off and unplug unit.
  2. Remove drain cap from rear port.
  3. Attach 5/8" ID hose (not included) securely.
  4. Route hose to floor drain or suitable container.
  5. Ensure hose has downward slope without kinks.

Tip: When using continuous drain, ensure water tank is empty and properly seated.

Operation Modes

Supports AUTO and CONTINUOUS dehumidification.

  1. Auto Mode: Unit runs until set humidity is reached, then cycles on/off to maintain.
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs constantly regardless of humidity level.
  3. Timer Operation: Set delay start or auto shutoff (1-24 hours).
  4. Defrost Cycle: Automatically activates when coil temperature drops below 41°F.
  5. Full Tank Alert: Unit beeps and light flashes; power cuts off until tank is emptied.

WARNING! Do not operate in temperatures below 41°F or above 95°F. Do not block air vents.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug before maintenance. Clean every 2 weeks for optimal performance.

  1. Water Tank: Empty regularly; clean with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.
  2. Air Filter: Remove, wash with warm water, dry completely before reinstalling.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with soft, damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Grilles: Use vacuum attachment to remove dust from intake and exhaust.

CAUTION! Never immerse unit in water. Do not use chemicals on water tank.
